Overview
The building provides a 360-degree experience of the stars and it's surroundings. While in the original planetarium viewers were merely spectators—observing the stars from Earth, the New Planetarium allows viewers to be full participants in outer space as the stars surround them on all sides, through a round, capsule-shaped structure and multiple projectors. This was a design competition.
